Statistical Analysis of Cortical Network Architecture based on Neuroanatomical Data

The objective of our project is to investigate the cortical network structure by modelling it from neuroanatomical data. This study is supposed to provide the statistical properties of the cortical network architecture for related research projects.

Based on neuroanatomical data, we intend to make a statistical analysis of the neuronal geometry and network wiring. Then, using the derived parameters, we plan to develop a probabalistic network model by applying the theoretical framework of stochastic graph theory. Thus, the established network will represent the essential of the cortical architecture.
