Kurzkommentar
In the exercises, first practical experience in basic neurobiology will be gained in the following areas:
• measuring physiological properties of neuronal networks in simple model systems, including handling measurement equipment, live tissue and incorporating key principles of experiment design and data analysis
• comparative and functional neuroanatomy in insects, rodents and humans on the basis of fixated tissue specimens, providing insight into basic mechanisms underlying perception and action.
